What is The Love Revolution?

Well, it might be nothing you aren’t doing now. It may be less than you do and are. Or, more likely, it’s a whole new way of looking at, seeing, and accepting yourself and the world around you. This revolution will be, and is, the foundation of universal and profound change at a cellular level.

Love Revolution stands for a couple different things. It’s a revolution; we are revolting against all too prevalent negativity and hate darkening our world today. People are so careless with each other. We communicate in hurtful and diminishing ways. Many preach love but practice hate. Too many just hate. Our guerrilla warfare is to infuse love and community back into our society.

It can also mean a RE-evolution. A societal shift and change from what we thought was progress, to what is actual progress and growth that will sustain our communities. We live in a society that praises and craves materials, money, and status. We idolize those who make billions while we live on scraps. We create fantasies on social media, accentuating that “gold is great”, as we fall deeper and deeper into anxiety, depression, and self-loathing. Our goal is to enable and assist people in seeing “good is great”; that to be positive, nurturing, and cohesive ii also a valid measure of wealth.

It also means (ou)R-evolution. We make the single person shift and change we want to see for the world. It all starts with us. We cannot make any changes outside of us, until we are different within. I cannot teach my children to not steal if I steal. I cannot teach others to love fully, phenomenally, and unconditionally until I know how to love that way. And this is where we begin. We are the only people we have total control over.

Love Revolution is an overall thought and action dynamic that will be infused into, and the foundation of everything we do at Urban Sanctuary. It is the foundation of the US Denver community itself. Urban Sanctuary was created to provide a space that accepted all humans and gave them the space to just breathe and be. A place that displayed and illustrated a basic, transformative love that becomes nourishment, much like plant food. It sinks into the roots of a person and provides a foundational nourishment to grow the holistic being, mental, physical, and emotional. We will share insights and learnings, as well as fun stories as we journey towards growth and sincere happiness. Join our army in this Love Revolution.
